Valentines Day is one of those smaller holidays that as an adult you don’t really pay much attention to, but once you have kids, it’s fun to go all out for!
I love turning holidays like this into full month long celebrations, to make it into a full season that kids will love!
One way to do that is with some fun Valentines Day crafts for kids!
There are lots of craft ideas for kids out there, but I have found that toddlers really need their own crafts and projects.
If your kids are anything like mine, they have a short attention span and everything goes in the mouth.
So, I rounded up some simple crafts they can help with, scribble on, or glue things down for a few minutes, and then roll off their chair and run away from you.

Stack cupcake liners and pom poms for a cute DIY paper flower bouquet!
Toddlers love finger painting! Let them paint a wooden heart for this craft.
Handprint crafts are so precious at this age. Love this one that's a frame!
Painting was always a hit with my kids at this age. Tape off a heart on your canvas and let them go wild.
Ok, so an adult will have to assemble these, but toddlers can definitely scribble on the paper. My toddlers LOVED putting things in and out of baskets!
Set up a little activity tray of lots of items for them to experiment crafting with to make cards!
Cut or buy a bunch of paper hearts and let your toddler stick them all on!
These valentines are painted inside a plastic bag. This is one of my favorite hacks for a clean paint project with little kids.
Lady bugs are so sweet! Let your toddler paint and stick the hearts on!
