Whip up a batch of Halloween Animal Cookie Blondies, a festive and fun dessert perfect for any fall celebration. This easy recipe combines Halloween-themed animal cookies, colorful sprinkles, and white chocolate chips into a delicious treat that's sure to delight.

I was recently walking down the aisles of Target, as one does, and I saw these Halloween themed animal cookies.

Your classic childhood favorite but in fun Halloween shapes and colors! I had to grab a pack and bake something with them.

If you're in the mood for something delightfully festive this Halloween, I've got just the recipe for you: Halloween Animal Cookie Blondies.

Halloween Animal Cookie Blondies

Complete with bats, ghosts, and pumpkins adorned in orange frosting and classic sprinklesβ€”this recipe is as fun to make as it is to eat!

These blondies mix the chewy, rich texture of traditional blondies with the colorful fun of Halloween, making them perfect for any fall gathering or spooky party.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of Halloween-themed animal cookies
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • ΒΌ cup baking oil (I prefer almond oil)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • ΒΌ cup Halloween sprinkles
  • Β½ cup white chocolate chips
  • 8x8 brownie pan
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cookies: Chop or crush two-thirds of the bag of animal cookies, and set the rest aside whole for later.
  2. Mix the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, almond oil, egg, and milk. Mix well until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Add the Goodies: To the batter, add the Halloween sprinkles, white chocolate chips, and the crushed animal cookies. Stir everything together until just combined.
  4. Prepare the Pan: Grease your 8x8 brownie pan with cooking spray or a bit of butter to ensure nothing sticks.
  5. Assemble the Blondies: Pour the thick batter into the prepared pan. It will be dense like cookie dough. Smooth out the top and then press the whole animal cookies into the top of the batter. If desired, sprinkle some extra chocolate chips or Halloween sprinkles over the top for added festivity.
  6. Bake: Pop the pan into a preheated oven at 350Β°F (175Β°C) and bake for about 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan before slicing them into squares. This ensures they set properly and are easy to cut.
