Setting up the Elf on the Shelf can be a LOT of work. Let’s keep it easy by using things you already have on hand that won’t take half an hour to put together!

Today I want to share an Elf set up that was a huge hit with my kids – the pooping elf!

Elf on the Shelf Pooping

Difficulty: Easy

Time: 2 minutes

What you need:

• Elf on the Shelf
• Hershey kisses
• Roll of toilet paper

What you do:

1. Set a toilet paper roll on it’s side (circle/opening up) wherever you want elf to be.
2. Put the elf inside the tube, legs first, facing away from you.
3. Lean them forward and tuck their arms into the tube to support themselves, booty up.
4. Unwrap a hershey kiss and put it under it’s bum.
5. Optional and gross: rub a chocolate on the paper for a brown smear.
6. Optional but recommended: leave a bowl of hershey kisses for the kids to find!
