Bored of your breakfast options for your kids? Here are the breakfast side dishes for kids to help you mix up your routine!

It's a cliche, but breakfast really is the most important meal of the day - especially for kids!

Breakfast helps kids fuel up and have energy for the big day ahead of them.

We serve our kids 3 items at each meal - a main and 2 side dishes. Side dishes are an important part of a balanced breakfast and a way to be sure that you hit as many of the food groups as possible.

My favorite breakfast side dish is cut fruit of any kind - whatever is in season. This is a great way to start getting fruit in at the start of the day!

You also want your kids to try to get a healthy fat or protein option to help keep them full. Luckily, there are so many breakfast food to choose from!
