Thinking about going to Peppa Pig Theme Park for or on your vacation? We went and did literally everything there is to do. Here’s out review!
We recently traveled down to Florida for a long weekend vacation and stayed at the Legoland Pirate Hotel (read our full review of the Legoland Hotel!) with our main attraction being spending time at Legoland itself.
But part of the package we got when we booked the Legoland Hotel included tickets to Peppa Pig Theme Park, which is right next door!
Our kids have watched some Peppa Pig, but they aren’t obsessed or anything, but we figured we would try out the theme park one afternoon and see what there is to do.
Our kids were 3 and 5 at the time and hadn’t previously been to any theme parks, so this was new to them.
Let’s talk about what to expect at Peppa Pig Theme Park in Florida and if it’s worth it for you!

Peppa Pig Theme Park honest review
I will start out by saying that the Peppa Pig Theme Park is very small, and it’s kind of hard to call it a theme park. It has a few (5) rides, a place to eat, and a gift shop.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with this, I just think that people might have a different expectation of what it entails.
I don’t think that Peppa Pig Theme Park is something you plan around for a whole day, but if you’re in the area (especially if you’re going to Legoland already), I think it’s a good afternoon activity if you have kids under age 7.
Peppa Pig Theme Park rides
Peppa Pig Theme Park has only five rides:
- Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster
- Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure
- Granddad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride
- Mr. Bull’s High Striker
- Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride
The roller coaster is very simple and doesn’t have anything scary, but it does move quickly for young kids. Our children were fine.
The Dinosaur Adventure is another track ride, but you sit on the back of a dinosaur and bounce very slowly around a path.
The boat ride is a simple circle moat that takes no time at all and isn’t very interesting, but it’s there.
The High Striker is a drop ride that takes you up and then drops you quickly a couple of times.
Finally, the balloon ride is a carriage style ride that takes you up, slowly spins you around a couple of times, then brings you back down.
That really is it for the rides. They are not anything particularly exciting, but they are at the perfect level for toddlers and preschoolers.
Peppa Pig Theme Park entertainment
There’s a few other things to do that I’d say fall into the entertainment category, including a Peppa Pig live action show, a tricycle riding course, and a small playground.
The live action show involves people dressed as characters coming out and giving a little performance. However, when we were there, they came out for a couple of minutes and then abruptly stopped, walked off with no acknowledgement and then the loudspeaker said the performance was cancelled due to extreme weather.
I’ll tell you it wasn’t raining, so I guess they determined it was too hot. But we were there at the end of May and it wasn’t that hot out, so I can’t imagine that these performances happen at all during the summer.
The tricycle ride is a small track that has loose tricycles available for kids to ride, but the older kids there got out of control and were running over the little kids. It wasn’t a great scene.
Finally, the playground is located in the “garden” where there is also a very small bush maze. The playground is very small and is a standard neighborhood-sized piece of equipment. Not what I would pay to play on.
Peppa Pig Theme Park splash pad
In my opinion, the best part of the Peppa Pig Theme Park was their splash pad. This was a pretty decent sized piece of climbing equipment with slides, water cannons, and a big bucket that dumps water every few minutes.
I tell you, our five year old was kind of bored with this park, but when we did the splash pad, he lit up and we played here for about an hour. He ran all over and it was great.
They have a changing room if you want to change, or you can also walk across the park to the bathrooms and change there.
If you go to Peppa Pig Theme Park, my number one recommendation would be to bring bathing suits and towels and plan to spend time at the splash pad!
Peppa Pig Theme Park dining
There is one dining option at Peppa Pig Theme Park and it is a standard diner style restaurant you’d find at any theme park.
It was between meals for us when we were there, so we didn’t get any food, but they looked to have options like salad, pizza, hot dogs, fries, etc.
We did however spend about 20 minutes in the air conditioning of the restaurant drinking some juice and soda just to cool down and there was only one other group in there, so I don’t think this is a popular spot.
Should I go to Peppa Pig Theme Park?
So here’s what I’d say about my recommendation on Peppa Pig Theme Park. If you have young children under age 7, this is a good afternoon option for you if you’re in the area. If your kids have never heard of Peppa Pig or are older than about 7 years old, I’d say skip it.
I would only plan to spend a morning or afternoon there, and I would ideally say have other plans, like Legoland, for the rest of the day.
The tickets are fairly inexpensive, but you don’t get nearly as much for your money as you do at other theme parks.
