• Black craft paint
• Small paintbrush
• Wooden clothespins
• Tacky glue
• Small googly eyes

Step-by-Step Guide:

STEP 1: Color the Coffee Filters:

Give each child a coffee filter or two and let them go wild coloring with washable markers. They can cover the whole filter or leave some white space—it all adds to the charm!

STEP 2: Spray with Water:

Once they’re done coloring, help them spray the coffee filter evenly with water. This will make the colors bleed together for a watercolor effect. Make sure to do this step on a surface that’s okay to get dirty, because the ink will bleed.
