How to make a Valentine’s Day Cookie Pizza
This cookie pizza is so easy to make! Here's how!

Ingredients
- 1 pack sugar cookie dough
- 1 pack Valentine’s Day heart-shaped ready-to-bake cookie dough
- Pink or red tub frosting
- Optional: red or pink squeeze-tube icing
Toppings (use what you love):
- Valentine’s Day red & pink M&M’s
- Heart-shaped mini marshmallows
- Valentine’s Day sprinkles
- Or any seasonal candy!
Tip: Any Valentine’s candy works here—just keep everything bite-size.

Steps to Make a Valentine’s Day Cookie Pizza
1. Prep your pan
Preheat your oven according to the cookie dough package instructions.
Use a large cookie sheet or pizza pan. Make sure it’s nonstick or line it with parchment paper so nothing sticks.
2. Create the heart cookie center
Arrange the Valentine’s Day heart cookies on the pan in a rough circular shape.
Using your fingers, gently press the cookies down so they form one large cookie base.
- Press enough so there are no gaps
- But not so hard that you completely distort the heart shapes
This will become the center of your cookie pizza.

3. Add the sugar cookie “crust”
Open the sugar cookie dough and place those cookies around the outside edge of the heart dough, forming a crust.

Pinch and press the dough together so it becomes one continuous crust, not individual cookies.
I had about six sugar cookies left over and just baked them separately on another pan.

4. Bake
Bake the cookie pizza, adding about 5 extra minutes to the bake time listed on your cookie package.
Because brands vary, keep an eye on it:
- The crust should look lightly golden
- The center should be fully cooked, not jiggly
Let the cookie pizza cool completely before decorating. (This part is important!)

5. Frost and decorate
Spread the tub frosting over the cookie like pizza sauce:
- Fill the center
- Leave a little exposed crust around the edge for that classic pizza look

Now comes the fun part—decorate!

Let kids add:
- Candy
- Marshmallows
- Sprinkles
- Extra icing details if you want

6. Slice and enjoy
Use a pizza cutter to slice into triangles and serve.

Why This One’s a Winner
The flavor combo is seriously good:
- Crunchy sugar cookie crust
- Soft heart-shaped cookie center
- Creamy strawberry-flavored frosting
- Chocolate from the M&M’s
- Light strawberry flavor from the marshmallows
- A little crunch from the sprinkles

It’s sweet, soft, slightly crunchy, and just really fun to eat.
10/10. My kids loved it.

This is a great recipe to:
- Make together after school
- Use as a Valentine’s Day dessert
- Let kids decorate their own slices
Simple ingredients. Minimal stress. Maximum smiles.
And that’s exactly how I like to do holidays.
