Easy Halloween Snack Cups for Kids

Why You’ll Love This Idea

  • Fast & easy – You can whip up a dozen in 10 minutes.
  • Budget-friendly – Just cups, napkins, and a Sharpie.
  • Kid-approved – Fun to make and fun to eat.
  • Customizable – Change the faces or napkin colors to fit your theme.

What You’ll Need

You only need a few simple supplies (that you might already have at home):

  • Clear plastic cups
  • Black Sharpie marker
  • Orange napkins (for pumpkins)
  • White napkins (for ghosts)
  • Green napkins (for monsters)
  • Snacks of your choice (pretzels, popcorn, candy, or Halloween Trail Mix)

How to Make DIY Halloween Snack Cups

STEP 1: Draw the faces

Use your Sharpie to draw a spooky or silly face right on the outside of each clear cup.

  • Triangle eyes + toothy grin = pumpkin
  • Stitches + square teeth = Frankenstein
  • Two round eyes + oval mouth = ghost

STEP 2: Add the napkin

Place a folded napkin inside the cup so the color shows through the clear plastic.

  • Orange napkin for pumpkin
  • White napkin for ghost
  • Green napkin for monster

STEP 3: Fill with snacks

Pour in your favorite Halloween treats. I love using Halloween Trail Mix, but you can use popcorn, goldfish, gummies, or whatever your kids love.

STEP 5: Serve and enjoy!

Line them up on a party table or hand them out as after-school surprises. They’re the perfect balance of festive and fuss-free.
