How to Make Lollipop Spiders
Here's how easy they are to make!

What You’ll Need
- Lollipops (any brand, but I love these black ones)
- Black pipe cleaners (grab some here)
- Googly eyes (these peel-and-stick eyes make it so easy, but glue-on eyes work too)
- Scissors
- Free printable gift tags — download here
- Hole punch + twine or ribbon (to attach the gift tags)

How to Make Lollipop Spiders
Step 1: Cut the pipe cleaners
Take 2 black pipe cleaners, fold them in half, then cut in half. Now you have 4 halves. These will become the legs.

Step 2: Attach to the lollipop
Lay the pipe cleaner halves across the lollipop stick and twist them around once to secure. You’ll now have 8 legs sticking out (perfect spider vibes!).

Step 3: Bend into shape
Gently bend each pipe cleaner outward and then down so they look like spider legs. Don’t worry about perfection—spider legs are supposed to be a little wonky!

Step 4: Add googly eyes
Stick on a few googly eyes to bring your spider to life.
Real spiders technically have 8, but we just have fun with it!
Try mixing it up with one big eye, two medium eyes, or 3–4 small ones. Let your kids get creative here—it’s hilarious to see the combinations they come up with.

Step 5: Add the gift tag (optional but adorable!)
Punch a hole in the corner of the printable gift tag, thread it with twine or ribbon, and tie it around the lollipop stick.

The “Have a Sweet Halloween” message makes it a perfect classroom or party gift.

And that’s it! Repeat until you’ve got a whole swarm of lollipop spiders ready to hand out. Whether you’re giving them to classmates, neighbors, trick-or-treaters, or your own kids, they’re guaranteed to get big smiles.
