These No-Bake Chocolate Nest Cookies are the easiest way to make Easter with kids extra fun—crunchy, chocolatey, and almost too cute to eat! With just a few ingredients and zero baking, they’re the perfect quick and festive spring treat.
Some recipes just scream childhood, and these Chocolate Nest Cookies are one of them.
My mom used to make these every Easter, and looking back, I have to say—she was so extra. She didn’t even have Pinterest! She got her recipes from the library like a true 90s icon.
Now that I’m a mom, I have a whole new appreciation for the effort she put in just to make every holiday feel special.

So, in her honor, I’m making these no-bake chocolate nests for my kids—and let’s be real, mostly for me—because they’re delicious, ridiculously easy, and perfect for Easter, springtime, or any bird-themed occasion (which, let’s be honest, is not a thing, but maybe it should be?)

How to Make Chocolate Nest Cookies
These no-bake treats come together in minutes with just a few simple ingredients and absolutely zero baking effort.
They’re chocolatey, crunchy, and adorable, and since they look impressive, you’ll seem like you put in way more effort than you actually did.
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups milk chocolate chips
- ½ cup butterscotch chips
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 3 cups chow mein crunchy noodles
- Non-stick cooking spray
- 36 Mini Cadbury Eggs or Peanut M&Ms

Instructions
- Melt the chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine milk chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and completely combined.
- Mix in the noodles. Stir in the chow mein noodles until they’re fully coated in the chocolate mixture.
- Prepare the pan. Spray a 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
- Form the nests. Scoop the chocolate-covered noodles into each muffin cup. Wash your hands, then use your fingers to press the mixture firmly into each cup, making a slight divot in the middle and shaping the edges higher to create the nest.
- Chill. Let the nests cool completely—I like to pop them in the fridge to speed up the process.
- Add the eggs. Once set, place three Mini Cadbury Eggs or Peanut M&Ms into each nest.
- Serve at room temperature. Straight out of the fridge, they can be a little too crunchy, so let them soften before serving.

Tips for Success (or at Least Minimal Disaster)
- Work quickly! The chocolate mixture will start to set as it cools, so don’t dawdle.
- Mess alert: Your hands will get chocolatey while shaping the nests. If you have kids helping, just accept your fate now.
- Storage: Keep them in the fridge if you’re not eating them all at once—otherwise, they tend to melt and become a sticky bird nest situation.

These Chocolate Nest Cookies are so easy, even a Pinterest-challenged parent can pull them off. They’re crunchy, chocolatey, and almost too cute to eat (but don’t worry, you’ll still eat them).
Whether you’re making them for Easter, a spring party, or just because birds exist, they’re a fun way to bring a little extra seasonal magic to your kitchen.
