You can of course use any cookie cake recipe, but using place + bake cookies makes it a super easy, 3 minute task.

How to Make a Thanksgiving Cookie Cake

Ready to get started? Here’s what you’ll need:

• Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
• Refrigerated Turkey-Shaped Cookie Dough
• Sprinkles
• Icing Tube

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Shape the Dough: Press the sugar cookie dough into the bottom of a round cake pan. I prefer to use a springform pan for this cake.
2. Add Sprinkles: This is optional, but I added sprinkles at this point, just for some extra fun!
3. Add Turkey Cookies: Place the turkey cookies on top and gently press them into the bottom layer.
4. Bake: Bake your cookie at 350 for about 30 minutes.
5. Cool: Let your cookie cake cool completely before decorating.
6. Decorate: This is where the fun really begins! Use icing to create a border or add words. Don’t be afraid to get creative with your designs!
