Looking for a dish to make for a football party that will really impress your friends?! Check out how I made a football stadium of nachos!
I have to tell you a not-so-secret - I couldn’t care less about watching football.
But, my husband is obsessed, and that seems to be rubbing off on our six year old.
And while the actual game doesn’t do it for me, I am always here for a good time. Whether that means a party or just snacks at home with the fam, there is usually some kind of fun I can stir up for a game.
For the Super Bowl, I decided to make a stadium of snacks!
I found this epic stadium of snacks, which is conveniently sized perfectly for a 9x13 pan.
We then filled in around with a variety of dippers and treats.
It was seriously so easy to put together - and such a dramatic effect!
How to make a football stadium of nachos
Here’s how easy it is to make this fun snack display for the big game!
Supplies needed:
- Snack stadium
- 9x13 pan of dip (see my recipe below)
- Aluminum foil
- Dippers of your choice, we used: Tostitos scoops, football-shaped pretzels, Quest taco flavored chips, taquitos, pizza rolls
- Candies or small treats to go in 4 triangular areas
See all of my football party must-haves!
Ingredients for the dip:
- Can refried beans, mixed with taco seasoning if preferred
- 16oz plain greek yogurt (or sour cream)
- 8oz queso cheese dip
- 16oz guacamole
- 12oz salsa
- 1.5 cup shredded mexican blend cheese
- 4oz shredded lettuce
- ½ cup diced tomato (I used cherry tomatoes)
- 3 green onions, sliced
To make the dip: layer the above ingredients in a 9x13 pan, in that order!
Steps to make:
- Set up the stadium following the included instructions. Basically, you lay the large piece out flat, then add the cross pieces, and fold the ends of the big piece up and over the cross pieces to hold them in place. It’s easy!
- If you are adding any messy foods and want to try to protect the stadium, consider adding aluminum foil to protect the stadium. You can also use folded foil to create a separator, like I did between the pretzels and the doritos!
- Add you 9x13 pan of dip in the center of the field
- Add dippers around into other sections. Consider adding foil to keep items warm or contained.
NOTE: If you use mostly dry foods, you can re-use the stadium! I pulled the food out, removed the cross pieces, and wiped everything down with a damp cloth. Let it dry completely before storing!
Enjoy your stadium of snacks! Go team!
