Plan a K-Pop Demon Hunters birthday party with fun ideas for decorations, activities, Demon Hunter Training, crafts, favors, and more.
If your kid is currently obsessed with K-Pop Demon Hunters, this is SUCH a fun birthday party theme.
For my daughterβs birthday, we went all in on a colorful K-pop-inspired party with makeover stations, crafts, demon hunter training, and plenty of music.
The best part? Most of the activities doubled as entertainment AND party favors, which kept the kids busy without needing a super complicated party schedule.

K-Pop Demon Hunters Birthday Party Ideas
If you're planning a K-Pop Demon Hunters birthday party, here are all of the ideas we used!
K-Pop Demon Hunters Party Decorations
For the decorations, I leaned into the bright pink, purple, blue, and neon colors from the movie.
You really don't need to transform your entire house to make this theme work. A few colorful decorations, themed signs, and activity stations made the party feel special without requiring a ton of elaborate DIY decor.
We set up signs around the party for:
- Makeover Station
- Craft Station
- Adopt a Derpy
I love using signs for kids' parties because they instantly make a simple table or activity feel like part of the theme.

I blew up a lot of themed balloons and hung pink and purple streamers.
The 2 larger decor items that I got were more of a splurge, but so fun!

First, I got the life sized cutout of the Huntrix girls. This is SO fun and always a spot to take pictures during the party. And, we used it to block off our stairs to keep kids downstairs.

I also had a custom banner printed! I designed it with Chat and printed it 2x6 foot at Walgreens for under $20. Be sure to search for a coupon code! They always have them!
K-Pop Makeover Station
The makeover station was one of the easiest activities to set up, and such a fun fit for this theme.
We included:
- Pink and purple hair color
- Clip-in colorful hair pieces
- Body glitter
- Temporary tattoos of "patterns"
- Scented body spray
The kids could stop by whenever they wanted throughout the party and add a little more K-pop star flair.

This also works really well as an arrival activity while you're waiting for all of the guests to get there.
K-Pop Craft Station
We also set up a simple craft station where the kids could make bracelets and keychains.
We also set out stickers where kids could make their own K-pop character and purple paper.
This wasn't hugely popular, but a few girls sat here almost the whole party, and even asked for markers to decorate their pages further so it was definitely worth setting out!

Pro tip: send home extra sticker sheets with the kids that enjoy them! Yay, less junk in your house!
I love having a low-key activity like this at a birthday party because kids can come and go from it instead of everyone having to sit down and complete the same craft at the same time.

Plus, whatever they make becomes something they can take home with them.

K-Pop Demon Hunters Party Games
We also played a couple of simple party games, because sometimes the classic birthday party games are still the most fun.
Pin the Hat on the Bird
For our K-pop twist on Pin the Tail on the Donkey, we played Pin the Hat on the Bird.
This was an incredibly easy DIY. I drew the bird onto a large piece of poster board, painted it with basic craft paint, cut it out, and taped it to a door.
Then I cut little hats out of black cardstock and gave each child a white crayon to write their name on their hat. I added a loop of tape to the back of each one so they were ready to stick.

Then we played the classic way: blindfold each kid, give them a little spin, and let them try to pin their hat in the right spot.
Nothing complicated or fancyβand the kids loved it. Sometimes you really can't beat a classic party game with a theme-specific twist.

Noodle Slurping Challenge
Our second game was a Noodle Slurping Challenge, and this one was so much fun as a race!
I printed pictures of the HUNTR/X girls eating noodles and cut a hole where their mouths were. I laminated the pages because I already own a laminator and wanted them to hold up during the game, but you could absolutely skip that step.

Then I made bundles of "noodles" using yellow yarn. Each bundle had about six or seven pieces of yarn that looked roughly the same lengthβbut one piece was secretly MUCH longer than the others.

I fed the yarn through the opening in each character's mouth and taped the pictures to the backs of chairs so the yarn noodles hung down behind them.
To play, the kids raced using tongs to pull the yarn through the mouth one piece at a time, like they were slurping up noodles. They kept going until they found and pulled out the extra-long noodle.
It was simple, silly, and surprisingly competitive, the perfect combination for a kids' party game.
Demon Hunter Training
This was definitely one of the most memorable parts of the party.
We gave the kids pool noodle swords and put them through Demon Hunter Training.
And then, naturally, a demon appeared.

Dad dressed up as the demon and the newly trained demon hunters got to put their skills to the test.
It was silly, easy, and an absolute hit.
And because we used pool noodles instead of actual toy swords, the kids could really get into it without us worrying quite as much about someone getting whacked.

The demons never stood a chance.
The swords were pink pool noodles cut in half (on an angle) with this sparkly tape as the grip. We pre-made them and just passed out at the party!

My husband wore this demon mask and this cape! We thought about getting a whole costume, but the mask itself was so scary that I didn't want him to scare the kids so I wanted his real clothes to be visible so they would know it was him. Probably they would've known it was him anyway, but I don't know the mask just really freaked me out!
K-Pop Demon Hunters Party Food
Our party was from 2β4 PM, so we kept the food pretty light. We served a variety of cookies, candy, and other sweets, plus pink and purple punch that we labeled Soda Pop for a little nod to the movie.

I also tried a couple of themed snacksβand I'll save you the trouble because neither was a hit.

I printed pictures of the healer from the movie and hot glued them onto applesauce pouches. I thought they were adorable. The kids apparently disagreed. I think ONE pouch was eaten, and it was by a younger sibling. Maybe we've officially aged out of the applesauce pouch era?!

I also made Rice Krispies Treat "sushi." I couldn't find green fruit roll-ups, so I used red, and they didn't look nearly as sushi-like as I'd imagined. The kids weren't impressed either, and almost no one ate them.

So if you're planning your own party: Soda Pop and sweets = yes. Elaborately themed snacks = you can probably save yourself the effort.
K-Pop Party Props
We also had some fun accessories the kids could grab and use throughout the party, including inflatable microphones and star-shaped sunglasses and party blowers.
These were great for dancing, pretending to perform, taking pictures, and generally running around being ridiculous.

They're also another easy way to add to the theme without needing a structured activity.
Adopt a Derpy Party Favor
Instead of traditional goodie bags, we created an Adopt a Derpy station.
Each child got to choose a little plush Derpy to take home.

We made the whole thing feel like a mini adoption experience with an adoption certificate and care card, plus a little candy.

This was probably one of my favorite details because it wasn't just a favor sitting in a bag waiting to go home. Choosing their Derpy became another part of the party.
I got the derpies on AliExpress. You can also get from Amazon, but for much more $.
I used these cute gift bags and also added candy - a candy necklace, a ring pop, and a rock candy stick!
Keep the Music Going
Of course, you cannot have a K-pop party without music!
We had a playlist going throughout the party so the kids could dance, sing, and use all of their inflatable microphones and guitars.
This is one of those party themes where the music does a LOT of the work for you. Turn it on, hand them some microphones, and suddenly you have an activity.
A Simple K-Pop Demon Hunters Birthday Party
The biggest thing I learned from this party is that you don't need a million activities to make a themed birthday feel special.
A few really fun stations gave the kids plenty to do:
- Get glammed up at the makeover station
- Make a bracelet or keychain
- Dance and sing
- Complete Demon Hunter Training
- Adopt a Derpy to take home

It felt immersive and exciting for the kids without requiring every minute of the party to be planned.
And seeing how excited my daughter was about all of those little details made it completely worth it.
If your kid is asking for a K-Pop Demon Hunters birthday party, steal any (or all) of these ideas.
Just make sure you're prepared for the demons.
They don't stand a chance.
