These Rice Krispie deviled eggs are a fun, no-bake Easter treat that look just like real deviled eggs. Made with marshmallows and cereal, they’re an easy dessert that kids will love helping make.
In the South, deviled eggs are basically required at any gathering.
So naturally… I had to make another sweet version.
I already made deviled egg cookies (and they are SO fun), but I wanted something even easier — no baking, minimal prep, and still just as cute.
These Rice Krispie deviled eggs check all the boxes.

They look just like the classic appetizer, but they’re actually soft, chewy Rice Krispie treats with a little “yolk” of icing in the middle. They’re playful, unexpected, and guaranteed to get some laughs when you set them out at Easter brunch.
The best part? They come together fast with simple ingredients and no oven required.
Kids love helping press the mixture into the molds and adding the “yolk,” and they look so cute served right next to the real deviled eggs.

Rice Krispie Deviled Eggs
This funny Easter dessert looks impressive but is actually super easy to make with marshmallows and cereal. No baking required, and kids will love helping decorate the “yolk,” making it perfect for Easter brunch or spring parties.
Ingredients
You only need a few simple ingredients for these fun treats:
- 4½ cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For decorating:
- Yellow icing
- Red or pink sugar sprinkles (optional, for a paprika look)
You’ll also need:
- Silicone egg molds
- Cookie scoop/melon baller or small spoon

How to make Rice Krispie deviled eggs
1. Melt the butter and marshmallows
In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously with a rubber spatula until completely melted and smooth.

Stir in the vanilla extract.
2. Mix in the cereal
Remove from heat and pour in the Rice Krispies cereal.

Stir until the cereal is fully coated with the marshmallow mixture.
3. Press into the molds
Lightly wet your fingers (this helps prevent sticking).
Press the mixture firmly into each egg mold cavity, making sure it’s packed in tightly so the eggs hold their shape.

Re-wet your fingers as needed while working.
4. Create the “yolk” hole
While the mixture is still soft, use a melon baller, cookie scoop, or small spoon to press a rounded indentation into the center of each egg.

This creates the space for the “yolk.”
5. Let cool completely
Allow the Rice Krispie eggs to cool fully in the molds.
Once cooled, carefully remove them from the molds.
6. Add the “yolk”
Pipe or spoon yellow icing into the indentation so it looks like the yolk of a deviled egg.

7. Sprinkle (optional)
Lightly sprinkle red or pink sugar sprinkles on top to mimic paprika.

Or switch up the sprinkle color for a fun twist!

Tips for the best Rice Krispie deviled eggs
- Wet your fingers before pressing the mixture to keep it from sticking
- Press the mixture firmly into the molds so the eggs hold their shape
- Create the indentation while the mixture is still soft
- Let them cool completely before removing from the molds
- Serve on a deviled egg tray for the cutest presentation
